Hawaiian sunset?
Nope! The view from my parents' house in Las Vegas, in a little community called Painted Desert.
We flew over from San Francisco with only one mishap (someone took our suitcase by mistake), but that was soon remedied and we arrived at my parents' "piece of paradise"
... doesn't it look like a dream as the sun is setting? It looks like that in real life!
The Painted Desert golf course is just beyond the fence... it is magnifique! And pretty entertaining to see golfers whizzing around in their carts. Our favorite spectator moments (see below) are watching the bumbling golfers looking for their errant balls. When we try to help them by pointing out where their ball landed, we often see one of these reactions from golfers whose pride can't be messed with...
- Denial "Oh, yeah... no, uh... that's not mine..."
- Hard of hearing "Sorry... huh? What? Ah, never mind..."
- Shrug, with voice trailing off....
All in all, it was the ideal week off... the weather was perfect, the house was home away from home, the regions around Las Vegas were breathtaking, and the company was just lovely! And the pool! Oh, the pool... I keep thinking about when I can get back to Vegas!?
Here are some of the moments we captured...
Seba loves noodles...
The Beatles' Love show inspires all sorts of dance moves (thank you Mom & Dad for the tickets!)...
Sebastien listens to his father-in-law...
And he's a pretty good student!
It was before I went on the real golf course...there you could see my real level ...:)
