Darling, je vous aime beaucoup...: If You're Going to San Francisco... for 24 hours

Two weeks ago was the start of our October break. Long live October vacation -- je l'adore! It breaks up the first part of the school year and gives teachers and students a breather, and it gives us a chance to travel during one of the best seasons!

We had a 24-hour stopover in San Francisco on our way to Las Vegas. Upon arriving in San Francisco (and to Sebastien's dismay), I had planned to use the iPhone app "Hotel Tonight" to get us a hotel on the spot, but, ummm... it didn't work, so after a few phone calls we basically showed up at Aunt Suzy and Uncle Rob's doorstep. They gave us a warm welcome, a comfy bed and a tour of San Francisco. We are grateful for their spontaneous and gracious hospitality!

We loved San Francisco....
